I became an educator because… It was important to me to provide the support and knowledge I learned over the years to younger children. I admired many of my teachers growing up and loved how devoted they were to children including myself. However, in college was when I realized how unprepared I was and unsure what I wanted in my future. I see myself in many students while working in a school environment. My hope is to support them in any type of need to become successful in their futures.

Prior to Equitas, I worked in retail and gained a long, heavy experience working with various devices and their constant change in software versions and Operating Systems.

I chose Equitas because… I value their initiatives and working in the Pico Union Community.

Outside of school, I enjoy… Too many things to list! But I enjoy a good family and friend gathering. Anything outdoors, LIVE MUSIC, Art, and every so often a quiet night in.
