Recent Awards
Equitas Academy #2 and Equitas Academy #4 Middle Schools were honored with the prestigious California Distinguished School Award in the spring of 2024 by State Superintendent, Tony Thurmond. This is a tremendous achievement that reflects and recognizes the exceptional work of the students, staff, and families of these schools. This year, fewer than 10% of middle schools and high schools throughout the state of California received this award.
California Community Schools Partner Program
Additionally, Equitas is proud to have been awarded a California Community Schools Partnership Grant to support each Equitas school. This grant supports efforts to partner with community agencies and local government to align community resources to improve student outcomes. These partnerships provide an integrated focus on academics, health and social services, youth and community development, and community engagement.
