I became an educator because… I wanted to serve communities that reflected my own experience, especially in the field of performing arts, and I can in turn reflect the community back to the students while they are at school.

Prior to Equitas, I… was a program director for the Youth Orchestra Los Angeles program at Camino Nuevo Charter Academy schools.

I chose Equitas because… of its commitment to serving a community and honoring its strength and potential through the education we provide it's children.

Outside of school, I enjoy… continuing to learn through podcast and audio books while I care for my dog, Socks.
