I became an educator because… I discovered the profound joy that comes from sharing knowledge and helping others grow. My own experiences with dedicated teachers who ignited my curiosity and instilled a love for learning have shaped my belief in the transformative power of education.

Prior to Equitas, I… taught in Brooklyn, NY for eight years. I taught first, second and third grade and even at a non-profit organization that served immigrant families whose main mission was to provide access to quality education for families.

I chose Equitas because… of the school's commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment resonates with my belief that education goes beyond imparting knowledge—it's about creating a supportive space where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Outside of school, I enjoy… reading, traveling and discovering new foods and restaurants.
