I became an educator because… I believe every student has the right to a safe and welcoming space when they can grow and learn.

Prior to Equitas, I… graduated from UC Irvine with my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Social Behavior. After my undergrad, I attended Vanguard University to complete my Teaching Credential and Master's in Instruction and Curriculum. During my time in school, I also worked with special needs children as a Behavior Therapist. After finishing my teaching credential I moved to Los Angeles and joined the Equitas Academy 6 team!

I chose Equitas because… I wanted to work with an organization who valued their scholars, staff, and community. I loved the way Equitas is so involved in ensuring all scholars and families have opportunity and resources to help them be successful.

Outside of school, I enjoy… reading, painting, and spending time with friends.
