I became an educator because… I wanted to be a part of transforming educational experiences for scholars with disabilities.

Prior to Equitas, I… graduated with a BA in Sociology and MA in Special Education from New Jersey City University in Jersey City, NJ. I worked as a special education teacher in NJ for 11 years before relocating to Los Angeles, where I found Equitas. I was an RSP teacher at EQ 2 before moving into the Director of Special Education role.

I chose Equitas because… of our inclusive education model and belief that all scholars deserve a high quality education.
