I became an educator because…I know first hand how even limited exposure to technology and innovation can ignite a spark in someone at such a young age, to shape future experiences, educational journeys and eventual career paths. I became a technology leader in education to share that same exposure to technology and provide students with opportunities to explore fields that may have seemed out of reach without the right guidance.

Prior to Equitas, I…I have served as the IT Director of multiple educational organizations over the past 10 years, leading teams of technicians in supporting classroom technology integration and providing technology support to staff, students and families. My experiences in technology planning and team leadership has contributed to the development of effective technology solutions for educational settings.

I chose Equitas because…The organization resonates deeply with my values and the reasons I became a technology leader in education. Growing up in a community of similar demographics, I recognize the transformative impact that education and technology can have on families facing unique challenges. Equitas’ dedication to serving communities like the one I come from provides an ideal platform for me to contribute meaningfully.

Outside of school, I enjoy…Spending meaningful time with my family and friends. I have a passion for traveling and exploring new destinations, sharing those experiences with friends and loved ones and creating long lasting memories.
