I became an educator because…I want to be able to help our younger generations in their educational journey. School is challenging and I struggled a lot during my journey so my goal is to ensure I can be there for others during their toughest challenges.

Prior to Equitas, I…worked in the customer service department of one of the biggest wireless networks in the country. After that, I moved to Los Angeles and began working as a property damage claims adjuster for vehicle accidents. Some time later, I realized I wanted to return to the educational field, so I started substituting, and eventually, Equitas found me.

I chose Equitas because…of the work environment and the mission of helping our scholars, their families, and the community

Outside of school, I enjoy…Spending time with my loved ones (especially my cats)
