I became an educator because… I personally understand the importance of enriching the lives of students through education, arts, culture and sports for lifelong success and fulfillment.

Prior to Equitas, I… worked in project administration for a global law firm as well as as a Pro Bono interpreter with unaccompanied children seeking asylum. I attended Pasadena City College as a Scholar Athlete playing collegiate volleyball and also attended East Los Angeles College. I'm a born and raised Angeleno and daughter of immigrant parents.

I chose Equitas because… after working many years in the corporate world helping a few unaccompanied immigrant children seeking a better life, I knew through Education and Equitas I could help change more lives and have a greater impact with my life's work and purpose.

Outside of school, I enjoy… traveling, hosting gatherings, celebrating & decorating for every holiday and spa days. I love romantic films, California sunsets and Art Deco design.
