I became an educator because… I believe that education is the key lever to building a more just and equitable society.

Prior to Equitas, I… taught in Detroit, Michigan!

I chose Equitas because… when I interviewed, it was clear that everyone had a deep love and commitment to the scholars.

Outside of school, I enjoy… spending time with my family and friends, baking, and visiting people who have cats as pets.
