I became an educator because… of the impactful teachers/coaches I had when I was growing up. They really made a difference in my life and I want to be able to make a positive impact on my students.

Prior to Equitas, I… was a substitute teacher in the Lynwood Unified School District and I attended Cal State Dominguez Hills to earn my teaching credential.

I chose Equitas because… of their high expectations for students and teachers. I believe that Equitas pushes everyone to continue develop and they provide everyone the support needed to continue growing.

Outside of school, I enjoy… coaching/playing/watching soccer. I've been involved in the sport for as long as I can remember and it has formed a big part of my life. I also enjoy spending quality time with family and friends.
