I became an educator because… I have very fond memories of elementary school and have always loved being in school and the classroom environment. School was where I was exposed to the world, other cultures, languages, the arts, and where I was provided creative outlets and opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities. All of this made school a place of great comfort, and I want to help create this same environment and provide these same opportunities for others. I’ve also worked with children off and on since high school, and out of all the careers I’ve dabbled in, working with kids has always been the most rewarding and soul fulfilling.

Prior to Equitas, I… worked in music and film production, and also taught in South Korea for 4 years.

I chose Equitas because… of the school culture, the collective passion and dedication of its teachers, and the commitment to the surrounding community.

Outside of school, I enjoy… traveling, reading, hiking, and scary movies!
