I became an educator because… I want to be able to help out families the same way my high school and middle school staff would help my parents.

Prior to Equitas, I… Worked at a cosmetics company as Quality Control for a little over 2 years.

I chose Equitas because… my elementary school was an LAUSD and I had a teacher who didn't care much about our education. For Middle school and high school, I went to charter schools and I managed to keep good communication with people at the office, my teachers, and my counselors. Working at Equitas allows me to interact with most, if not all, of the scholars who are enrolled as well as have a nice relationship with the family and the students.

Outside of school, I enjoy… Playing soccer and spending time with my family.
