I became an educator because… growing up I had many amazing teachers who advocated for me when I was not able to do so myself. They played a huge role in my life and the direction that I wanted it to go. I wanted to inspire others the way my teachers inspired me.

Prior to Equitas, I… worked in a Special Education program at a school in Lakewood. During my time there, I was a substitute teacher and decided to go back to school to get my Master's and Credentials in Special Education.
