I became an educator because… I want to give back to my community.

Prior to Equitas, I… was the first to graduate from college at UCLA in 2023. I was tutoring elementary students in multiple subjects and working as an after school, Robotics club leader with Woodcraft Rangers.

I chose Equitas because… I believe in its core values and its mission to provide a diverse and equitable education in the Pico-Union community.

Outside of school, I enjoy… being active and spending time with my family. Whenever I have free time, I like to play video games or thrift.
