I became an educator because… in hopes of creating more equitable educational experiences for children and families from historically marginalized communities.

Prior to Equitas, I… worked in the independent music industry for several years. After receiving graduate degrees in school psychology, I worked in Philadelphia, PA and Camden, NJ, primarily serving students with significant mental health and behavioral needs before moving back to Southern California.

I chose Equitas because… of the sincere respect and collaboration with the families and community.

Outside of school, I enjoy… weird music, the beach, hanging out with my family and friends, and forcing a love for the Dodgers upon my daughter.
