School Operations Manager

I became an educator because… Growing up I always knew I wanted to work in a school setting.

Prior to Equitas, I… was working for the Lennox District as an Intervention Assistant and Instructional Aide. When I came to Equitas 6 years ago, I started working as an Office Coordinator, I then learned my passion was working "behind the scenes" in ensuring smooth daily operational processes.

I chose Equitas because… I strongly believe that knowledge is the key to a successful and empowering lifestyle. In the School Operations Manager role, I hope to bring pride, satisfaction, and an easy flow of communication to the entire team, which is constituted by staff, the community, scholars, and parents. I hope to provide everyone at Equitas with a sense of unity, a sense I lacked growing up in the South Los Angeles public school system.

Outside of school, I enjoy… spending most of my time with my family.
