I became an educator because… I believe all children should have a strong and supportive education system.

Prior to Equitas, I… was the first in my family to graduate from high school and go to college. I graduated from California State University, Los Angeles with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and have an Associate's Degree in Administration of Justice from East Los Angeles College.

I chose Equitas because… it's an organization that makes you feel welcomed. Everyone at Equitas works so well together towards their goals and and are dedicated to to Pico Union community.

Outside of school, I enjoy… spending time reading and spending time with my family.
