I became an educator because… I believe that all students deserve and exceptional education and that supporting young people to learn is an incredible honor. They are our future!

Prior to Equitas, I… have been a teacher, counselor, and principal. I have also worked with teachers and principals both inside and outside schools to strengthen education in Los Angeles and many other communities across the U.S.

I chose Equitas because… I was excited to be part of a small network of schools that are committed to the Pico-Union community and are grounded in values that are important to me.

Outside of school, I enjoy… spending time with my family and friends, traveling, playing tennis, and enjoying the incredible landscape of Los Angeles, which I am proud to call home!
