I became an educator because… I want to share the love of learning.

Prior to Equitas, I… graduated from Cal State Long Beach in 2007 in Liberal Studies with concentration in Mathematics. I taught Pre-K through high school in Japan, Korea, and China. In 2019, I came back to the states and started teaching at Equitas Academy #2 as the 5th grade math teacher.

I chose Equitas because… I want to be part of the educational journey for all the scholars in the Pico-Union community.

Outside of school, I enjoy… spending time with my family.
