I became an educator because… I chose a career in education to help students who are often overlooked or underserved, aiming to give them the chance to succeed and break through barriers that might hold them back.

Prior to Equitas, I… was engaged in completing my Master's degree in Education at Alder University.

I chose Equitas because… due to the opportunities it offers to enhance my teaching practice through structured coaching and its commitment to antiracism.

Outside of school, I enjoy… dedicating time to my plants, camping, and spending time with my loved ones. My passion for speaking Spanish has helped me foster an important connection between students and the community.
