I became an educator because… I believe in the power of equitable access and thriving outcomes for all students.

Prior to Equitas, I… served as a teacher and instructional coach in elementary schools throughout Los Angeles and Chicago, IL. Upon arriving, I served at our Flagship campus as Principal before founding our Director of DEIA role.

I chose Equitas because… of a belief in schools amplifying the brilliance of their students, families and communities. Equitas' roots and commitment to Pico Union resonated with a deeply held beleif in the partnership between communities and schools.

Outside of school, I enjoy… traveling with my family, spending time in the gym, and trying new recipes!
