Substitute Teacher

I became an educator because… I want to be able to create a safe space for scholars to learn and make mistakes. I want to be able to give them the support that they need in order to grow and believe in themselves.

Prior to Equitas, I… attended UCI as an undergrad. I had an internship where I worked with school aged children and knew that I wanted to continue down this path.

I chose Equitas because… the team that I work with is amazing and they want what is best for scholars. The teamwork that goes into teaching EQ3 scholars is amazing to see.

Outside of school, I enjoy… spending as much time as I can with my son and family.
