I became an educator because… I feel strongly that everyone should have an opportunity to obtain a quality education with a strong support system.

Prior to Equitas, I… graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a BS in Biology and minor in Spanish. I started working in different schools as a long term Sub, BII, and different office settings. Eventually, I landed at EQ2 as an office temp and was recruited to EQ3 when their new building was ready so essentially Equitas found me!

I chose Equitas because… I love the community here. I loved how they were so welcoming and loving towards the kids and how we ALL work together toward the same mission of providing the best education possible to get them to and through college. I didn't have that support growing up so it brings me so much joy to see that I found a community that truly cares about our kiddos.

Outside of school, I enjoy… the outdoors. From hiking, to running, to enjoying a good sports game. I also love going to concerts to enjoy the music! But my all time favorite thing to do is spend quality time with my family. They are the best support system and my backbone.
