I became an educator because… I wanted to see scholars engage in opportunities that I was blessed to have growing up as the child of immigrants.

Prior to Equitas, I… Taught for 12 years in grades from 4th-11th. I have lived abroad in Abu Dhabi and had the opportunity to teach there for 4 years. My favorite subject to teach was English, as I was a Comparative Literature major.

I chose Equitas because… of the community approach to learning and caring for each other.

Outside of school, I enjoy… Nature, traveling and being with my family.
