I became an educator because… I wanted to give back to the community I was raised in and I believe the best way to do that is through youth! I love being a positive presence in the lives of students.

Prior to Equitas, I… Worked for after school programs as a club leader and as a site coordinator at EQ2 and EQ3.

I chose Equitas because… I became familiar with equitas during my time in after school. My interactions with both students and staff made me interested in working with equitas directly. I loved the environment and how the educators supported and helped students grow - I wanted to be a part of that!

Outside of school, I enjoy… being with my dogs, learning new arts and crafts and cooking!
