I became an educator because… I want to provide a safe and welcoming environment in which students feel comfortable enough to challenge themselves and develop a love for learning.

Prior to Equitas, I… graduated from UCLA with a BA in Sociology and minor in Education. I received my Master's in Early Childhood Education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I taught Kindergarten in Las Vegas before moving back to California and finding Equitas.

I chose Equitas because… I felt an immediate connection with the organization and its values.

Outside of school, I enjoy… writing, walking, and spending time with my cats.
