I became an educator because… I want to support young individuals who share similar backgrounds as mine. My goal is to demonstrate that despite challenging circumstances, one can overcome adversity and need not be confined by their surroundings. I aspire to be a living example for these students, illustrating that they have the power to defy expectations and shape their own destinies, irrespective of the challenges they may face.

Prior to Equitas, I… I worked as a music educator in a middle school. In that role, I directed a drumline and choir, allowing me to share my passion for music with students and create engaging and enriching musical experiences for them.

I chose Equitas because… of my unwavering commitment to making a significant difference in the lives of my students. I see this as an opportunity to positively impact the educational journey of students and contribute to their overall development.

Outside of school, I enjoy… Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, working out and creating music.
