Ms. Ortega is thrilled to join the Equitas team and support students, staff, families, and community members alike. A proud Pico Union native and first-generation college graduate, Ms. Ortega takes great pride in serving as a role model to her younger siblings and cousins who attend Equitas. Her career in education began as a club leader for Woodcraft, and she has since progressed through roles as a Community Liaison and Site Coordinator. Now, Ms. Ortega is eager to give back to her community with renewed enthusiasm and commitment, as Culture Coordinator for EQ2.
