I became an educator because… I was interested in how people acquire language and working in a kinder dual language program made me fall in love with working with early learners.

Prior to Equitas, I… taught a variety of grade levels.

I chose Equitas because… of its location in an area historically home to immigrants from Central America, and the supports provided to students and educators alike.t have the attitude that bilingualism is an asset.

Outside of school, I enjoy… reading, walking, and spending time with my family.
